Individual ACT tutoring for students who want stronger subject
skills, better test strategy, and a clearer understanding of
why they are missing questions. Tutoring is available for ACT
Math, English, Reading, and Science.
Review algebra, functions, geometry, statistics, word problems,
pacing, calculator use, and recurring ACT Math question types.
ACT Math is a major focus of Emily’s tutoring.
Work on grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, organization,
and the patterns that repeatedly appear in ACT English questions.
Practice reading efficiently, locating evidence, managing time,
and distinguishing supported answers from attractive but
incorrect choices.
Develop a more efficient approach to graphs, tables, experiments,
conflicting viewpoints, and questions that require students to
find evidence quickly.
Emily earned a 36 on ACT Math after improving her own test
preparation process. ACT Math tutoring can combine direct math
review with pacing, question recognition, calculator strategy,
and detailed review of missed questions.
ACT preparation is more useful when practice results are used
to identify patterns. A missed question may come from a content
gap, a timing problem, a careless error, or misunderstanding
what the question asked.
Sessions can review missed questions, identify recurring
weaknesses, and practice the specific skill that needs
improvement.
Students can focus on one ACT subject or work across several
sections. Sessions can be used for ongoing preparation, review
before an upcoming ACT date, or focused help with a section that
is holding back the student’s composite score.
Sessions are $50 for one hour and take place through Zoom.
