Algebra tutoring is available for middle school, high school,
and college students. Sessions can focus on current class work,
homework, test preparation, difficult units, or strengthening
earlier skills that are affecting the student’s current course.
Bring assignments, class notes, review sheets, or questions
about material that has been difficult to understand.
Review the concepts and question types most important for an
upcoming class test, ACT, or IB assessment.
Review mistakes to determine whether the problem is content,
strategy, timing, or execution.
Use regular sessions to strengthen weak areas and build skills
the student can apply independently.
Use the contact page to explain the subject, current course or
test, and the areas where the student would like help.
Tutoring takes place online, so students can work from home
while sharing the material they need help with.
Because sessions are one on one, the hour can be spent on the
specific concepts and questions that matter most.
The goal is for the student to leave understanding the reasoning
well enough to apply it to new problems independently.
Sessions are $50 for one hour through Zoom. Tell Emily what
subject the student needs help with and what they are currently
working on.
